watch Bobby Bowden and his Florida State Seminoles play
football. Entertainment for all ages to enjoy. After the
Seminoles win their game you can stop and look at the famous
Sod Cemetery. Where the Seminoles bury a piece of sod they
take from each field when they win a road game and a bowl
game. This tradition started in 1962. |

Station. With attractions such Go Karts, Laser Runner,
Blaster Boats, Batting Cages, a large arcade, a wonderful

Tallahassee. Stop by the Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State
Park, where you can relax in the sun, go swimming, bike
riding, fishing, hiking, horse trails, kayaking, and
boating. The land was giving to the State by Mr. Alfred
Maclay after his wife passed away. The park is three hundred
acres with many variety of flowers and trees. |

With
Tallahassee being Florida's state capitol, it's a must for
you to stop by "The New Capitol" building. On the grounds of
the Capitol building is a replica of the Liberty Bell, a
gift to Florida citizens as a symbol of the 1950 United
States Savings Bonds Independence Drive. In 1984 a
remembrance memorial of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was added
to the Capitol Courtyard. Many other memorials are on the
Capitol grounds such as The Florida Fraternal Order of
Police Law in Enforcement Memorial, Purple Heart Memorial,
and the Old Capitol Historical Marker.
